SAMBA, Nov 18: A woman died after hit by unknown vehicle at Maheshwar area of Samba today.
According to the report, the mishap took place at Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Maheshwar area of Samba, when the unknown vehicle hit with a woman and fled from spot. The people immediately brought her to Military Hospital Samba for treatment, but the doctors declared her to as brought dead and the body of the deceased woman was shifted in the mortuary room for autopsy.
The deceased woman has been identified as Anita Devi, wife of Hav Jagdev Singh resident of Mansar at present posted in 12 JAKLI Samba.
In this regard Police has taken cognizance the matter and started investigation.
