We the residents of village Chagsoo in Doda district want to draw the attention of the district administration towards some of the burning problems which have remained unresolved so far.
The Middle School which was upgraded into a High School some time back has no sufficient space to accommodate 300 students which are presently enrolled there. Though funds had been allotted for raising the building, but the contractor who was allotted the work has stopped the work for reasons known to him.
In absence of space, students are suffering terribly and their academic standard has been hit.
There is also no drinking water facility available to them. Students have to manage drinking water of their own either by getting it from home or from outside the school premises.
Ration Depot
It is informed here that the Ration Depot existing in the village does not function properly. The concerned authorities are requested to look into the matter and relieve the consumer of the agony they are experiencing right now.
Electricity shortage
The village is also experiencing erratic supply which has made the life of people quite miserable. If Government is not in a position to improve it, then provide us solar light. This is a viable alternative to illuminate the households here.
Allopathic dispensary
The people also suffer here due to absence of an proper staff in the Allopathic dispensary existing here. There is also no medicines and machines to provide proper treatment to patients.
Keeping above facts in view, the district administration is requested to look into the matter and take action accordingly.

Lack of agricultural guidance
Ours is a agricultural country where over 70 percent people depend entirely on agriculture for their livelihood. It is tragically disappointing that no agriculture assistant is posted in our area as his presence is never seen in our panchyat, “Hathal-B.” Obviously, in the absence of guidance and awareness about the technology know, how the farmers here are worst sufferers.
As such it is requested that needful be done to depute an agricultural assistant in our panchyat.
