3 teachers hurt as Alto car skids into gorge

MENDHAR, Nov 22: Three Government teachers were injured, when an Alto car skidded off the road and turned turtle at Seglad Morh, Behara near Ghani, in Mankote tehsil of district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when the private vehicle, bearing registration No. JK12B – 2360 was on its way to Ghani from Mendhar. The vehicle was in speed and the driver, Mohd Fazal (teacher) could not control it at a sharp curve. It rolled down into a gorge. The teachers were going to their school in the morning.
The injured were identified as Parveen Akhter (47), wife of Munshi Khan, resident of Gani, Safeena Kousar-36, wife of Mohammd Javed, resident of Balnoi and Mohd Fazal Choudhary (38), son of Mir Mohammd, resident of Ghani in Mankote.
Mohd Fazal and Parveen were referred to GMC Hospital, Rajouri for serious injuries. The police has registered a case in this connection.
