SRINAGAR, Nov 23: 4th Additional Sessions Judge Srinagar Haq Nawaz Zargar has rejected the bail application of Farooq Ahmad Khan, son of Ghulam Nabi Khan and Mehraj ud Din Mir, son of Ghulam Nabi Mir, both Residents of Saida Kadal, Srinagar, who were allegedly booked by the police under NDPS Act.
“Perusal of the report reveals that the accused persons are the habitual offenders as such they don’t deserve any concession of bail at this stage when the investigation is in progress”, the court said, adding “this offence directly affects the society at large and the cry of society is to tackle these offenders with iron hands”.
Court further observed, “in order to curb this menace, some coercive measures need to be taken by all the stake holders”.
