JAMMU, Nov 23: Self reliance by learning vocational skills will lead to the affluence in the life of youth, while giving an edge in realizing the dream of Empowered India. This was stated by BJP State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul, while awarding the diplomas to the successful female candidates of Government Polytechnic College, Janipur, here, today.
Kaul was also accompanied by the Principal of Polytechnic College, Arun Balgotra, Rajesh Gupta, Centre Instructor Anuradha, BJP State secretary, Praduman Singh, T N Bhat, Bashir Ahmed Bhatti and others during the function.
The women candidates were given training for vocational course under Community Development through Polytechnics Scheme Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. Training was imparted for a period of six months. Diplomas were distributed to 25 female trainees, for the vocational courses like cutting, tailoring etc. While the college also imparted vocational training to eight specially abled children under the scheme.
Ashok Kaul, while addressing the jubilant candidates on the occasion, wished them success for their future endeavours. He said that these vocational courses will enable them to earn dignified living as they can now turn up to establish their own small business units. He said that this leap has turned them into the entrepreneur and in the turn of time of events and some of them can go for bigger adventures also.
Kaul, guided them that how they can make full use of this opportunity. He congratulated them as they will become self reliant after the training. He said that the development of the nation and the society depends on the economic growth of the nation and as such prompted them to work with full dedication and vigour. He also assured them of full guidance and help in their future endeavours.
