Pak violates ceasefire

JAMMU, Nov 23: Pakistan army today violated ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked firing and shelling on forward posts and villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district which was retaliated very effectively by the Indian troops.
“Pakistan initiated the unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and shelling with mortars at about 11.30 am in Sunderbani sector, prompting befitting retaliation by the Indian Army,” reports said.
The Indian Army retaliated to silence the Pakistani guns and the cross-border firing between the two sides lasted about an hour.
There was no report of any casualty on Indian side in the Pakistani shelling and firing, reports said.
