POONCH, Nov 24: Mystery shrouds the death of a missing youth, whose body was recovered from the bank of a Nallah in Surankote area late last evening.
A police spokesman identified the deceased as Amin Ahmed (24), son of Abdul Qayoom, resident of Samot village in Surankote. He was missing since November 19 and the family members were searching for him. They lodged a missing report at Surankote Police Station on November 22.
Late last evening, some people noticed a dead body lying at the bank of a Nallah near Hari Mohalla, in Surankote and informed police. The police party reached the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary of SDH, Surankote. Today, after postmortem, the body was handed over to the family. A case has been registered by police in this connection.
