JKTF highlights issues of School Education Dept employees

JAMMU, Nov 24: A deputation, led by Ganesh Khajuria, chairman Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, called on .Sanjay Kumar Bhat, Personnel Officer at the Directorate of School Education, Jammu and put forth various issues.
The demands, propounded by Ganesh Khajuria before the Personnel officer, included release of all the pending arrears & salaries in favour of Masters working as Head Teachers and streamline their salaries w.e.f. November 2019 onwards.
He demanded that the pending salaries of the RRETs who have been converted into Teachers Grade II and III and whose verification process has been completed be credited into their accounts by issuing directions to their concerned DDO’s.
He also demanded that Contingent paid workers, who have been working from the last 20 to 30 years in the Education Department on the meager amount ranging between Rs 20 to Rs 50 per month, be regularized immediately. Though the process of DPC has been initiated by the Department but no output has been yielded yet, he added.
The Personnel Officer listened to all the issues very patiently and assured that all the demands of CP Workers and RRETs will be sorted out in a time bound manner.
