Anjuman-Islah Ul-Muslimeen organises one-day Seerat-un-Nabi Conference

JAMMU, Nov 24: One -day Seerat-un-Nabi Conference was held at Idd Gah , Residency Road here, today under the banner of Anjuman-Islah-Ul-Muslimeen, Jammu.
The conference was of two sessions. The first session was presided over by Allama Syed Mohammad Askri, chairman Ahle-Bait Trust, Delhi. The programme started with the recitation of verses from holy Quaraan by Roshan Din which was followed by Naat Khani by Umar Gul.
The key note address was delivered by Allama Syed Mohammad Askri, Moulana Fateh Mohammad , Mohtamin, Madrassa Mahmoodia , Mendhar Poonch delivered a thought provoking lecture on the life and teachings of Prophet of Islam. He said that a Christian author has enlisted hundred most successful personalities of the world placing Prophet of Islam at number one is a testimony to the fact that the Prophet even in the eyes of non Muslims deserve a place at number one.
He further said that the success of Muslim Ulmas lies in the strict following the teachings of holy Quaraan and Prophet. He appreciated the efforts of Anjuman Islah-Ul-Muslimeen to organize such programmes so as to spread the message of Prophet which is relevant in the present days also.
Allama Syed Mohammed Askri delivered a thought provoking lecture on various aspects of the life and teachings of Prophet Mohammed. He said that Prophet is eternal, everlasting and universal. He was sent to reform the mankind as a whole. He was Prophet of peace and laid down a straight code of conduct for his followers when they were sent on any expedition. He said that Islam teaches love and compassion not only for human beings but for animal kingdom as well.
Alama Syed Abdullah Tariq was the third speaker in the session who said that the Prophet of Islam was sent primarily with four obligations i.e to decide the holy Quaraan, to purify inner hearts of believers, to spread knowledge of Islam and to popularize policy of wisdom to manage affairs on an atmosphere of mutual understanding of love and affection without any conflict. Maulana Rehmatullah Mir Quasimi, Nazim-e- Ala Darul Uloom Rehmiya , Bandipora Kashmir touched the topic that how Islam spread around the Globe during the period of Prophet.
The second session started with the recitation of Quaraan by Quari Abdul Khaliq. An inspiring lecture was delivered by Swami Laxmi Shanker Achariya a renowned scholar from Delhi. He said that Islam stands for non violence, peace and protection. The conduct of Prophet of Islam won him all his opponents.
Kavinder Gupta former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader , Gulcain Singh Charak , former Minister , Rajesh Gupta ex MLA , Jahangir Mir ex MLC were present on the occasion.
