BSP to gear up activities in J&K

JAMMU, Nov 24: J&K coordinator of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Raja Ram has said that party will gear up its activities in the J&K UT in coming months as the Lt Governor has dropped hint on the conduct of elections here.
In a meeting of the prominent leaders and workers of the party held at party office Satwari today, Raja Ram discussed various issues related to reorganization of the party in J&K. He asked the workers to gear up their activities in view of the coming elections.
He said that two new assistant coordinators Parkash Bharti and Naresh Saran have been deputed by the Party national president, Kumari Mayawati to gear up organizational activities in the Jammu and Kashmir. He asked the party cadre to launch mass contact programme in their respective areas and project the issues of the public and specially the poor and down trodden members of the society.
S R Majotra, state president of the BSP also spoke on the occasion. Among others present on the occasion included-Tilak Raj Bhagat, Charanjeet Chargotra, Som Nath ( Ex-MLA), Pritam Chand, R K Thappa, Shashi Bhushan Thappa, Pawan Kundal, Yashpaul Bhagat and B B Kundal.
