JAMMU, Nov 24: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI), president, Rajesh Gupta today urged Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu to provide quality medical and health facilities to people of J&K on Delhi Government patron by bringing ‘quality healthcare for all’ scheme, its free healthcare facilities including tests and surgeries.
In a statement issued here today he said Government in Delhi is making unprecedented strides in enhancing people’s access to quality healthcare. The Government has launched several schemes to provide free medicines, tests and several life-saving surgeries through a three-tiered network of mohalla clinics, polyclinics and hospitals.
Gupta appealed to Lieutenant Governor to introduce such quality healthcare facilities on top priority as the condition of hospitals is very pathetic in J&K Union Territory. He said that it is very important and there should be Mohalla Clinics on pattern of Delhi Government.
