Intl Dogra Society London raises funds for Jammu border school

JAMMU, Nov 26: International Dogra Society, London organized a `meet & greet’ with Bollywood/Hollywood fame actor Ali Fazal in Central London to raise funds to donate to a border village school in Jammu region.
Many people from London joined to meet the star and get personal pictures clicked. The gathering also had members of International Dogra Society. An interactive question- answer round with the star Ali Fazal took place to break the ice and connect the audience.
Ali Fazal in his speech said, ” I am proud to be associated with this event, which will help contributing for a noble cause back in Jammu Kashmir. I am planning to visit Jammu Kashmir in near future, once I finish shooting of my upcoming Hollywood movie- `Death on the Nile’ based on Agatha Christie’s famous novel”.
Lalit Sharma Founder and Director International Dogra Society said, “We want to contribute in our humble way towards Jammu region to make a little difference where ever we can. We will also keep promoting our identity and unique Duggar culture internationally”.
Vikrant Gupta, Director International Dogra Society mentioned he will be visiting Jammu in early December and donate the funds to a border village school in consultation with local authorities. He said Dogra Society intends to organize more such events abroad which will enable to contribute towards our society back home in Jammu.
Manisha Sharma, an upcoming singer who has recently recorded a song for a movie, sang beautiful Pahari and Desh Bhakti songs. Ashima Mohit Sharma was elated to welcome Ali Fasal with a presentation bouquet.
International Dogra Society is an initiative taken by like minded, young Dogras settled in UK. Society aims to promote Duggar culture and connect Dogras abroad and back home.
