Young Writers Guild organises short story session

JAMMU, Nov 26: Young Writers Guild Jammu organized an Afsana Mehfil (Short Story Session) at Pt Amarnath Vaishnavi Memorial Hall , ASKPC Bhawan , Durga Nagar near here today. The session was presided over by veteran short story writer M L Pandita while Avtar Hugami a short story writer was the guest of honour.
The programme was conducted by Engineer Vinod. The welcome address was read by Kundan Paras. The writers who read their short stories included Vijay Sagar, Shyam Behari, Santosh Shah Nadan, Kusum Dhar, Ashok Koul, A K Zadoo, Kundan Paras, Rinko Koul, Satish Safeer, Er Vinod, Sujata Koul, Bindiya Tickoo. Others who spoke in the function included P N Shad, Rajinder Aagosh, A K Naz and Brij Hali. The function was also attended by B N Abilash, Dildar Mohan and others.
Avtar Hugami in his address welcomed the new writers in the field of short story writing and appreciated the role of Young Writers Guild in providing a platform to senior as well budding writers of the society. He also presented his short story.
In his address M L Pandita stressed on reading more and more books on short stories. He gave his remarks on short stories presented in the programme. The vote of thanks was proposed by Satish Safeer.
