19 injured in accidents

SRINAGAR, Mar 18: Nineteen persons were injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a Tata Mini-Bus bearing registration number JK03/4475 driven by Mohammad Shafi Dar, son of Abdul Aziz resident of Dangerpora on way from Gosu to Pulwama while reaching Ganiepora-Newa, Pulwama, collided with a tree resulting in injuries to 15 persons along with the driver of the vehicle.
The injured were shifted to District Hospital, Pulwama for treatment, where from six persons have been referred to SKIMS-Soura, for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A van bearing registration number JK01L/8435 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03B/5108 at Khudwani-Kulgam, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Bashir Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Shaban resident of Muniward, Anantnag. The injured has been shifted to SKIMS- Soura, for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK03A/0262 and a Santro car bearing registration number JK03B/9653 collided near Railway Track, Kulgam, resulting in injuries to two persons driver Javid Ahmad Dar age 25 years, son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Khanabal, Anantnag and Waseem Ahmed Dar, age 24 years, son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Hanji Dantar. The injured have been shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A lady Zarifa, wife of Siraj-ud-Din Shah resident of Katsoo fell down from a motorcycle driven by Feroz Ahmad Shah resident of Katsoo-Sirigufwara, resulting in injuries to the said lady. The injured was shifted to SKIMS-Soura for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
