POONCH, Mar 18: Two thieves were arrested today and huge amount of stolen electronic items were recovered from their possession, police said.
Giving details SP Poonch, Shamsheer Hussain told that last week thefts took place in High School Bainch and Nagbani School and accordingly FIRs were registered at Police Station Poonch.
The theft cases were worked out by a police team headed by SHO Poonch, Sanjeev Slathia under the supervision of Deputy SP, Rashid Bhat. Both the thieves identified as Mohd Shahid, son of Zehur Ahmed, residence of Kanuyian and Mohd Irfan son of Mohd Hanief, residence of Guntrian, have been arrested.
On their disclosers, the police recovered huge quantity of electronic items including 2 TFTs, 1 PC Monitor, 3 printers, 4 UPS 1 laptop, etc besides tools used for breaking the locks, shutters and safes.
