UDHAMPUR, Nov 29: A young man was found dead under mysterious circumstances, near his residence at village Hartyan, under the jurisdiction of Rehambal Police Station.
The deceased was identified as Ajay Kumar (42), son of Madan Lal of village Hartyan (Sunari). He had apparently consumed some drugs or poisonous substance and was found lying unconscious near his home, last night. The family members rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After postmortem and other legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family members for last rites while Police has initiated inquest proceedings in this regard under Section 174 IPC.
