Retiring officers accorded farewell

JAMMU, Nov 29: On the eve of their superannuation tomorrow, several retiring officers were accorded warm farewell by their colleagues, seniors and juniors in their respective departments and institutions.
Directorate of Information and Public Relations accorded an affectionate adieu to Assistant Director (Information) Baghwan Das Sharma on his superannuation. On the occasion, officers and officials of DIPR appreciated B D Sharma for his dedication and honesty during his four-decade service career and congratulated him on his superannuation.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Information and Public Relations, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar, hailed Mr Sharma’s role in DIPR and extended her best wishes to him for post retirement life.
SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) accorded an emotive farewell to Dr Vijay K Razdan Professor (Plant Pathology) on his superannuation after rendering distinguished services of 41 years.
SKUAST-J Vice-Chancellor Dr K S Risam, while appreciating Dr Razdan’s contributions in teaching, research and extension, wished him a very healthy post-retired life. President Teaching Association Dr Vikas Sharma listed g Dr Razdan’s achievements as an administrator and contributions in the discipline of Plant Pathology.
Jammu University Officers’ Welfare Association accorded a warm farewell to the President of the Association, S Rajinder Singh Khajuria, Assistant Registrar, who is going to superannuate tomorrow after giving services for more than 30 years.
The Association members lauded the efforts made by S Rajinder Singh to uphold the esteem of the officers’ body and also wishes him a healthy and peaceful retired life.
