UDHAMPUR, Nov 30: In an apparent case of suicide, a 14-year old boy was found hanging from a tree near his house at Krimchi in Udhampur.
According to the Police reports, Adeep (14), son of Bimal Kishor of Krimchi, was found hanging from tree under mysterious circumstances. Some locals saw him hanging from the tree and immediately called the family members. On being informed, Police also rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Even as it seemed to be a case of suicide, the cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained. Police has started inquest proceedings in this connection, under section 174 of IPC.
