JAMMU, Nov 30: All J&K OBC Mahasabha has urged upon the State Administration to implement Mandal Commission Report in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a meeting of the Mahasabha held here today under the chairmanship of Kasturi Lal Basotra, the members said J&K is now Union Territory and directly under the control of Centre. All the Central laws are now applicable in J&K and its special status has gone. Therefore, the Government must implement Mandal Commission report here and provide 27 % reservation to the OBC communities in the Jammu and Kashmir UT.
