JAMMU, Dec 8: J&K Bank has commissioned an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at Basantgarh, Jammu.
Bank’s Zonal Head Jammu (North II), Sushil Kumar Gupta inaugurated the ATM in presence of Cluster Head, Rajesh Gupta and Head Business Unit Basantgarh, Des Raj.
Many customers of the bank, members of trade and business community, Government officials and senior officers of the bank were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the Zonal Head said, “We feel happy to dedicate the ATM to the residents of Basantgarh and its adjoining areas. It will facilitate customers particularly on holidays and odd-timings such as before and after the banking hours”.
“Customer convenience is our priority and we are hopeful that this ATM will bring ease into their lives”, he added.
After the inaugural ceremony, the Zonal Head along with the Cluster Head and Business Unit Head held an interactive session with the customers and the local businessmen.
He urged the locals to avail various schemes of the bank that are customized for different sections of the society including farmers, unemployed educated youth and people engaged in different business activities of trade and services.
