JAMMU, Dec 11: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today said that the Union Government has laid full focus on development of infrastructure to provide best amenities to the people of the J&K.
Gupta was addressing people who turned up to attend PMSYM camp at Bahu Fort near here, today. Prominent among those present on the occasion were Dy. Mayor JMC, Purnima Sharma, Vinay Gupta, Neeraj Puri, Ankush Gupta, Sharda Kumari, Vivek Patyal, Daljeet Singh, Ajay Kumar and Sunny Sangral and attended by large number of people of the area. Kapil Chai, Rashid Mugal from J&K Housing Board, representative of Employment Department on behalf of DECC participated in PMSYM awareness camp and Sanjeev Gupta, Monika, Reetika and Neha also attended the camp.
Gupta said, PM Modi has set a target of covering all eligible beneficiaries under the scheme by 2022 and to make the scheme successful he called upon every BJP worker to identify the needy person for availing the benefit. He said every able person shall contribute by reaching to public so as to up-lift the weaker sections, downtrodden, women, youth and farmer and strengthen prime agenda of the Government. He also made people aware about the benefits of various Centrally sponsored schemes including PMAY, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Digital India, Make In India, Skill India, MUDRA Bank Yojana, DeenDayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti BimaYojana,Atal Pension Yojana, AMRUT Yojana, etc.
While congratulating Indians for recently passed Citizens Amendment Bill, 2019 from Loksabha Gupta said, our country has different religions and social practices, every moment on the streets of our nation you will witness people who openly flaunt their religion with pomp and gusto, so much so that us nationals cannot keep count. This is proof of our secularism this is testimony to our flourishing diversity and further added that “Rohingyas along with other illegally immigrated foreign nationals of particular community should be sent back to their origin countries”. Listing achievements of the Centre, Gupta said Narendra Modi is committed Prime Minister and has keen interest for the development of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh for which he is providing liberal funding.
He said with liberal funding promised by the Centre all the approved development projects will be completed in a time bound manner in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. He said, we shall witness a new era of development in both of the union territories carved out from J&K State as there shall be direct supervision of the development projects with zero possibility of funds diversion & 100 percent utilization having no chance of corruption.
