CCB Chairman reviews working of the Bank

JAMMU, Mar 20: The Chairman of the Citizens’ Cooperative Bank (CCB) Ltd, Jammu today chaired a meeting of the officers of the Bank here at the conference hall of the Bank in Sahakari Bhawan Jammu to review the working of the Bank.
Chairing the meeting, Chairman, Dinesh Gupta, disclosed that a number of chronic NPA loan accounts had been settled under one time settlement scheme launched by the Bank which is effective upto the close of current financial year ie. March 31. He stressed upon the officers to urge the borrowers to settle their old debts by opting the one time settlement scheme before March 31.
The Bank has notified the defaulters of the Bank by medium of local TV channels and by installing hoarding to clear their defaulted amount and old debts failing which the Bank shall be constrained to take coercive measures for effective recovery which may include publishing of photographs of such borrowers and their guarantors in local newspapers and hoardings at prominent places of the city, Gupta said.
The chairman advised the officers to take effective steps to achieve their current years targets.
Gupta further said that the Bank is on wheels for computerization on CBS pattern with state of the art infrastructure facilities which will improve the working conditions of the employees and provide better and efficient services to the clients including RTGS/NEFT facility on highly cost effective and efficient model.
The chairman also discussed various steps being taken to further improve the working of the Bank and expressed hopes that with the dedicated and consistent hard work by his team of directors and employees of the Bank, the Bank will emerge as a vibrant institution with latest technologies in the near future.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Ashok Goswamy, Managing Director of the Bank.
