Durga Nagar delegation calls on Advisor Sharma

JAMMU, Dec 13: A deputation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee headed by Roshan Lal Raina its president called on Advisor to Governor, K K Sharma here, today and highlighted their demands before him.
The delegation informed the Advisor that the estimates of two transformers for two Mohalla in Durga Nagar are lying in Commissioner cum Secretary’s Office in Civil Secretariat for a year now and they have not been sanctioned with the result people are facing problems with the burning of transformers as they can’t bear the extra load.
The delegation also demanded that segregation of R2 Feeder immediately may be done immediately. The Advisor gave instructions to the officers for taking immediate action in the matter.
The delegation also met the Ajit Kumar Sahu Commissioner cum Secretary, PHE and demanded reduction in water supply gap problem. The Commissioner cum Secretary, issued directives to Chief Engineer PHE to identify the land to settle the issue. Later the delegation met Secretary Relief and Rehabilitation Simrandeep Singh and highlighted the problems of camp and non camp migrants. The delegation also met Commissioner cum Secretary Works and highlighted their problems. Besides it also met the Transport Commissioner regarding permits for magic autos.
