SRINAGAR, Dec 13: Residents of Pardesi Mohalla Kaw Cherwan tehsil Kangan in Ganderbal district have made an appeal to Chief Engineer, R&B Kashmir that the construction of PMG road to Gujjar Patti from Kawcherwan Kangan be taken via Pardesi Mohalla.
In a statement issued here today the People Welfare Society, district president Ganderbal, Mohammed Shaban said that one km road to Gujjarpati Kangan is being taken via a secluded area while ignoring the local bastis of Pardesi Mohalla etc which too sans road connectivity.
He said by taking the road via Pardesi Mohalla the two Mohallas of Kaw Cherwan will also be touched who have no service road.
Mohammed Shaban in an appeal to Chief Engineer R&B urged him to look into the problem. He has also sought the intervention of Lt Governor in the matter saying that whether roads are constructed to link the Bastis or from secluded areas.
