JAMMU, Dec 15: To commemorate 55th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, a ‘Gurmat Samagam’ was organized at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Baba Ajit Nagar, here.
The bhog of ‘Akhand Path’ was held in the residence of Gurdev Singh. A large number of people took part in the ‘Gurmat Samagam’.
Joginder Singh Ragi Jatha from Nanaksar Kaleran Punjab recited ‘Shabad Kirtan’.
Fateh Singh, General Secretary DGPC Jammu threw light on the life and highlighted the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev. He added that Guru Nanak Dev served the humanity without any caste and religion.
Sant Baba Lakha Singh, Mukhi Nanaksar Kaleran delivered his gurmat vichar about Guru Nanak Dev. He stated that Guru Nanak Dev served the world and worked for equality among the masses. He appealed to the people to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev.
Advocate Amrik Singh from New Zealand congratulated Gurdev Singh for organizing this ‘Gurmat Samagam’.
Later, ‘Guru Ka Langar’ was distributed among the participants.
