JAMMU, May 13: Police today arrested three gamblers and recovered Rs 4500 from their possession in Reasi town.
They have been identified as Mahesh Kumar Sharma son of Bhawani Sharan, Munshi Ram son of Saran Dass and Suraj Singh son of Nanak Singh, all residents of Vijaypur, Reasi.
They were gambling in the open when police parties headed by SHO Reasi Inspector Jatinder Singh Samyal arrested them.
A case under the Gambling Act has been registered against the accused.
