JAMMU, Dec 17: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) welcomed the passage of CAB by the Parliament of India and Narendera Modi Government at the Center, which will give relief and solace to those Hindus and other minorities of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan who have suffered lot at the hands of anti–Hindu and other fundamentalists of these countries.
Kundan Kashmiri while addressing a meeting at New Delhi today also vehemently condemned the Congress and other opposition leaders of the country for playing dirty politics for inciting the Muslims and others as well as provoking the students against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) and following Pak ideology to damage the interests of Indian nation.
KPC welcomed the extension to the detention of Farooq Abdullah, former Chief Minister& NC leader saying that it was NC which along with Congress was responsible for creating barrier between Union of India and J&K by incorporating Article 370 in Indian Constitution and later giving the slogan of plebiscite instigating Muslim majority of Kashmir against India.
Kundan Kashmiri, president KPC in a statement issued here, today said that it was because of the seeds of separatism sown by Article 370 which was nurtured by NC leadership for decades that the Kashmiri Pandits who have over five thousand years rich civilization and had contributed brick by brick in nurturing the rich culture and civilization of Kashmir were forced to leave the Valley.
Kashmiri said that these were not the gun wielding terrorists but the ideology behind that which led to destruction of Kashmir after 1989 and waging of a war against the Indian nation.
Now after abrogation of Article 370 and UT status to J&K, fanning the emotions of general masses against the country and propagating of secessionist and separatist ideology which poses a threat to life and liberty of the people and nation can’t be tolerated, he said.
Besides Kundan Kashmiri,other KPC leaders who spoke in the meeting included Dr.H LSaraf, M.N Raina, Susheel Ji Bhat, R.L Raina, Rajender Dhar, Sanjay Koul and SK Bhat.
