MENDHAR, Dec 18: A youth was killed after a tractor rolled down in Dharana area of Mendhar Sub Division of district Poonch late this evening.
Official sources said that 25- year old Mohd Tariq, son of Mohd Safeer, residence of Dharana village sustained critical injuries after his tractor met with an accident near his village. Tariq was driving the tractor and was alone on board.
He was rushed to Mendhar Sub District Hospital, where he was declared as brought dead. BMO Mendhar, Dr Parvez Ahmed Khan said that he had already succumbed to injuries before reaching hospital. The body was later handed over to the family after post mortem and performing legal formalities by police, he added.
Police has registered a case at Mendhar Police station and started investigation.
