KATHUA, Dec 19: Kathua police with the help of civilians solved sensational hit and run case in which rider of the motorbike was succumbed to injuries.
Team of police Station Hiranagar led by Inspector Vijay, SHO Police Station, Hiranagar under the supervision of Ravinder Singh, SDPO border apprehended accused driver namely Ravinder Kumar, S/o Bishan Dass, R/o Channi Manasa, Tehsil Samba who was absconding since committing an accident with his car bearing Registration No. JK02AR-3202. Victims namely Vinod Kumar S/o Kaku Ram R/o Chhan Morrian, Tehsil Hiranagar and pillion rider namely Gulshan Kumar, S/o Dewan Chand, R/o Chhan Morrian was riding on a motorcycle bearing Registration JK08D-9381 received serious injuries in the accident and were shifted to SDH Hiranagar where Vinod Kumar succumbed to his injures.
A case FIR No. 130/2019 U/s 279/337 IPC stands registered at Police Station Hiranagar. Further investigation into the case is going on.
