JAMMU, Dec 19: On the instructions of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Pankaj Magotra and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (A), Ashish Kumar Gupta, the Enforcement wing of JMC conducted a drive against illegal and unauthorized constructions within JMC limits.
Rakesh Puri, AEO and Arun Nayar, I/C Ward No. 71 and others of enforcement staff of JMC joined the drive and found that a residential construction going on and shuttering work was being undertaken by the owner at Sidhra without prior permission from JMC.
The whole structure was demolished by the enforcement and transport wing of JMC.
JMC authorities have appealed to all Jammu city dwellers to refrain from unauthorized constructions and encroachments.
