JAMMU, Dec 20: Jammu Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Parchar Saigal (JKRBPS), Jammu today released a book ‘Abhivyakti’ in a function held at K L Saigal Hall of Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), Jammu.
The book is written by Dr Bhushan Kumar Sharma, who is a senior lecturer in Higher Secondary Basohli, besides a poet and astrologer.
Prof Vishwa Murti Shastri, former nominee Chancellor, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi and a leading personality of Jammu was the chief guest of the function while Dr Arvinder Singh Aman, Aditional Secretary, JKAACL presided over the function and Pankaj Gupta (KAS) was guest of honour.
President of the Samiti, Didar Singh, said that JKRBPS is a literary organization which is working for the promotion and propagation of national and regional languages, literature and writers.
Amita Mehta presented introductory paper of the book released on the occasion.
Dr Bharat Bhushan Sharma, general secretary of the Samiti conducted the programme. Literary personalities, prominent citizens and family friends of Dr Bhushan were also present.
