JAMMU, Dec 20: Complimenting the people of J&K for maintaining peace and harmony in the face of gravest of provocations by vested interests, Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman JKNPP said, prevailing situation is an eye opener for those questioning the pluralism and secular credentials of J&K.
“While the divisive and fascist forces and political opportunists were trying to divide the country on communal lines, the saner elements had a greater responsibility to share and to prevent societal rupture on communal lines,” Singh said while addressing a press conference here today.
Accusing BJP led Government of failure in controlling mob violence and fast collapsing law and order situation, the JKNPP leader questioned whether it would convert the violence ridden States to Union Territory too.
Holding BJP Government responsible for prevailing crisis in the country and the resultant ruin and destruction, Singh said that it had failed to win over the confidence of the countrymen.
