UDHAMPUR, Dec 20: An 18-year old boy committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in forest area at Manad in Tikri Block of District Udhampur.
Reports said that Vijay Kumar, son of Ram Chand of Manad, was found hanging from a tree in forest area at Tikri under mysterious circumstances. The body was spotted by some locals who informed the Police.
Tikri Police shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem and other legal formalities. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while a Police case in this connection has been registered for further investigation.
