Thieves decamp with gold ornaments, cash, vehicles

JAMMU, Dec 20: Thieves decamped with gold ornaments, cash and vehicles from different areas of the Jammu District.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Vijay Kumar, a resident of H No 302, Lane Number 13 Talab Tillo with Police Post Talab Tillo stating that some unknown persons entered into his house and decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1.50 lakh cash.
Meanwhile, a complaint was lodged by Nitak, son of Janak Raj of Bagh-e-Bahu with Police Post Sidhra regarding theft of his Alto K 10 car from Sidhra area.
In another similar incident, a complaint was lodged by Mohammad Iqbal, son of late Ghulam Qadir of Peer Bagh Colony Sunjwah with Police Post Bhatindi regarding theft of his motorcycle.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Nowbad, Nagrota and Bahu Fort Police Stations and hunt has been launched to nab the thieves.
