JAMMU, May 13: Evacuees Property Tenants Welfare Society (EPTWS) today held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Inder Mohinder Tar Singh, in which members from several mohallas participated and discussed their grievances.
The main issue discussed was the dissolution of the nominated office bearers of the society and the expulsion of the treasurer who was charged with corruption charges and anti society activities by taking money for the tenancy transfer case.
The members said that after the final decision of the Chairman of the society, Suraj Prakash Sharma, this case should be handed over to Crime Branch so that common tenants were relieved.
Tar Singh while speaking appealed all those who have been deceived by these leaders during the past nearly two decades to come forward voluntarily to expose the people behind corruption.
Among others present were Rajinder Sharma, Chairman, PoK EP Tenants, Satpal Saini, general secretary, EPTWS, Jyoti Vaid, Ramesh Sharma, Vijay Raina, Gurcharan Singh, Ravi Manhas, Gopal Sharma, Jagdeepak Singh, Ganesh Sharma, etc.
