UDHAMPUR, Dec 25: A meeting of Vishwakarma Sabha Udhampur was held under the chairmanship of Vijay Manhas, Working President, to discuss various issues, especially Central OBC certificate.
Vijay Manhas lamented that it was very unfortunate that the District Administration was not issuing OBC certificates to the beneficiaries as per the Union Territory (UT) norms. J&K is now a UT but the authorities concerned are still issuing the OBC certificates on previous pattern, he said and appealed the Government to make rules easy and issue OBC certificates to the beneficiaries.
A team of Shree Vishwakarma Library under the leadership of B R Kataria along with O P Kataria, Master Pritam Verma and Joginder Angotra was also present in the meeting.
