JAMMU, Dec 28: Dr RK Suri, Director, Triveni Nursing Home and Chairman, Institute of Dental Sciences, was presented ‘Best Doctor of the Year’ award by Six Sigma Healthcare Private limited, New Delhi.
Dr Suri received the award from General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff, at Health Care Leadership Summit 2019 organized at New Delhi. The award was presented to him for his recognition of outstanding achievement, diligence, noble services and sustained contribution to the society and for having capacity to translate vision into reality.
This was Asia’s biggest Healthcare Summit and was attended by delegates of five countries viz Nepal, Bhutan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. The guests of honour in the summit were Anurag Singh Thakur, Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Dr Kirit Premji Bhai Solanki, Member of Parliament from Ahmedabad, Lt General Anup Banerji Director General, Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Air Marshal MS Butola, DGMS (AIR), Suregon Vice Admiral MV Singh DGMS (Navy), Lt General SM Londhe (DGDS) while the special guest was Maj Gen SB Akali (retd).
The keynote speakers in the Summit were Dr Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS New Delhi, Dr Ravi Kant, Director, AIIMS Rishikesh, Air Marshal Dr Pawan Kapoor, Prof DS Rana, Chairman, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Dr Shakti Gupta (Medical Superintendent, Dr RP Centre, AIIMS) and many others.
