Debate, Calligraphy, Drawing competition held

JAMMU, Dec 30: Debate, Calligraphy and Drawing competition was organized by Sunrise Educational Trust Jammu, between Sunrise Public School and Govt Middle School Thangar, Channi Himmat, here today.
30 children from each school participated in the competition.
Anuradha Rishi, President of Pt Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Trust and member of ICCR was the chief guest on the occasion.
She was accompanied by the team of experts including Poonam Chandlika Tyagi, senior artist from Delhi, Ahobilam Prabhakar, senior artist from Hyderabad, Ahristlina (Delhi), Vidharti (Delhi), Anshu (Delhi), Deepak Kumar (Rajasthan) and Sahil Kumar (Jammu).
In Debate Competition, the 1st prize awarded to Rita Kumari from class 3rd of Sunrise Public School, 2nd prize was awarded to Ram Devi from class 4th of Sunrise Public School and 3rd prize went to Muskan from class 6th of Govt Middle School.
In Calligraphy 1st prize was awarded to Affrena from class 1st of Sunrise Public School, 2nd prize went to Kusum from class 2nd of Sunrise Public School and 3rd prize was awarded to Anil Kumar of Govt Middle School.
In Drawing, the 1st prize was awarded to Anil Kumar of Govt Middle School, 2nd Prize was awarded to Arun Kumar of Govt Middle School and 3rd prize went to Rohit Shah from class 4th of Sunrise Public School and Haseena from class UKG of Kunjwani Branch of Sunrise Public School.
Anuradha Rishi presented awards to the winners.
She appreciated the children for their wonderful performances in the competition and encouraged the children to show their talent.
Anuradha Mansotra, Principal of Govt Middle School was also present during award distribution. SPS Founder Director, Manpreet Kour also highlighted the achievements of the school.
The other staff members who were present on the occasion were Principal Virinder Kumar, Jyoti Kumari, Seema Sharma, Nisha Kumari, Narinder Kour, Dheeraj Kumar, Ansh Gupta, Reeta Kumari, Anu Sharma and Anjana Sharma.
