Holidays on anniversaries of Hari Singh, Mukherjee demanded

JAMMU, Dec 31: Activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena here today staged a protest demonstration demanding a holidays on the birth anniversaries of Maharaja Hari Singh and Dr. Shama Prasad Mukherjee.
The protest was led by Front leader, Ashok Gupta who said that it was due to Maharaja Hari Singh that J&K State became a part of India when he signed the instrument of accession on October 26, 1947.
Gupta demanded an enquiry into the death of Shama Prasad Mukherjee and stated that a big statue of Mukherjee should be built at the place where he had sacrificed his life.
Surjeet, Bantu, Prem, Kalu, Anil, Vijay, Sham, Ajay, Ramesh, Abhishek and others were present in the protest.
