JAMMU, Jan 1: Sireesha Srinivas, senior PWWA member and wife of Dr B Srinivas ADGP CID J&K presented a cheque of Rs 6 lakh to the Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh in a function held at GO’s Mess Gulshan Ground here this afternoon.
ADGPs B Srinivas, AK Choudhary, AG Mir, IGP Jammu Mukesh Singh, IGP Garib Dass, Chairperson Police Welfare Wives Association (PWWA) Dr Rubinder Kaur, PWWA members Archana Choudhary, Shabnam Mir and Smita Priyadarshini were present on the occasion.
DGP Dilbag Singh on behalf of Jammu Kashmir Police Parivar thanked Sireesha Srinivas and hailed her noble gesture towards the families of martyrs. He wished her good luck for the future assignments.
Pertinent to mention here that Sireesha Srinivas at the closing ceremony of the art exhibition Reminiscences (Kashmir on Canvas), dedicated the sale proceeds of Rs 6 lakh each to the children of Police Martyr families of J&K Police and Telangana Police. This art exhibition was held in Hyderabad, Telangana in December 2019.
