JAMMU, Jan 1: The new Chief Post Master General (PMG), J&K Circle, Manju Kumar today reviwed functioning of Postal Department in Jammu- Kashmir and Ladakh.
Soon after taking up the new assignment, Manju Kumar today chaired a meeting of officers of the department and passed directions for smooth implementation of various Government schemes across, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, besides providing the traditional postal services.
She expressed confidence that the India Post will continue to work as an arm of Central Government in implementing various Government schemes.
Manju Kumar is an Indian Postal Service (IPoS) Officer of 1989 batch. Prior to her posting as Chief Post Master General, J&K Circle, she was working as Deputy Director General (Personnel), Dak Bhawan, New Delhi.
