GANDERBAL, Jan 1: District Development Commi-ssioner, Ganderbal Hashmat Ali Khan, handed over scooties to three specially-abled persons of district Ganderbal at a function held today.
The function was organized by District Social Welfare Officer, Ganderbal, Akeel Ahmad and motorized tri-cycles were provided by State Rehabilitation Council, J&K, an Institution of Social Welfare Department.
On the occasion, DDC appreciated the efforts of Social Welfare Department for facilitating the specially-abled persons under different schemes saying that the differently- abled people face a lot of trouble in travelling and this scheme will definitely help them.
Among others, District Social Welfare Officer, Ganderbal, Officers of Social Welfare Department, Ganderbal and beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
