PDP Steering Committee on Migrants holds meet

JAMMU, Mar, 22: A meeting of the PDP Steering Committee of Kashmiri Migrants was convened under the Chairmanship of Ashok Bhat coordinator of the party here today.
In the meeting various issues were discussed regarding the problems faced by the displaced community. The main focus in the meeting was filling up of 1443 posts.
Looking at the pathetic and precarious financial condition of the community, It was stressed that the Government should expedite the process of filling up of above said  PM’s employment package  post’s by vacating  the stay in the Court on priority basis.
The members also recalled the promises made by the Govt. regarding the passing of Shrine Bill which has been put on hold since long time reason best known to the Government. Community Seeks immediate intervention of the  Chief Minister in this regard so that the old glory of the temples in the Valley may be restored by passing the shrine temple bill in this current Assembly session.
The prominent among those who spoke in the meeting were Dr. R K Pardesi, Sunil Bhat & H S Sodhi.
