JAMMU, Jan 3: On 1056th day of their continuous protest for regularization, the Contractual Plus 2 Lecturers today held a strong demonstration near Press Club Jammu.
Shouting slogans against the Government administration and in support of their demand, the protesting Contractual Lecturers also attempted to take out march towards Civil Secretariat but Police did not allow them to proceed further.
During the protest demonstration, two Contractual Lecturers namely Sanjay Kumar and Yog Raj got fainted and they were immediately hospitalized where they were discharged after some time.
The protest demonstration was led by Pankaj Sharma under the banner of All J&K Plus 2 Contractual Lecturers Forum, who appealed Lt Governor of J&K and Advisor K K Sharma to personally intervene for justice to the aggrieved Contractual Lecturers.
