KATHUA, Mar 22: Satguru Kabir Sabha, Vijaypur celebrated Parkash Utsav of great saint and social reformer Bhagat Kabir at village Swankha.
MLC, B. R. Kundal who was chief guest on the occasion inaugurated and dedicated to the public a community hall near the Kabir temple.
Ex-Minister, Manjit Singh also attended the function.
Paying rich tributes to Kabir Ji, Kundal urged people to follow the path shown by the great saint and make their contribution to further the cause of creating an equal society, adding that Guru Ji stood for justice, equality and peace.
He said saints always preached love, equality and brotherhood and people can make their lives meaningful by emulating him.
Prominent among those who participated and spoke on the occasion include Sr. Vice President of Sabha, G. R. Bhagat, K. L. Bhagat, Prof. Ashok Kumar Bhagat, Yash Paul Bhagat and Tirath Ram Bhagat.
The devotees were blessed with a spiritual ceremony by the prominent preachers of Jullandhar.
