Anjuman-E-Imamia stages protest, pays tributes to Sulaemani, Mehdi

JAMMU, Jan 6: Anjuman-E-Imamia here staged a protest demonstration and paid tributes to the ‘martyrs’ Qasim Sulaemani, Chief of Qudds Forces of Iran and his close associate Abu Mehdi Al Mohindis, Commander of Hashad Al Shaabi.
It is pertinent to mention here that on January 3 US drone missiles targeted the convoy of Sulaemani in which he was killed.
Maulana Ali Badshah Naqvi, Imam Jumma Imamia Masjid Peer Mitha told reporters that the ‘inhumane act’ shows how the ‘US polices backing terrorism in Gulf Countries to capture maximum resources of these countries’.
Prof Sujat Khan, Secretary Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu said: “We are shoulder to shoulder with Iran and US has to pay a big for this act.”
He further said that it was because of Sulaemani that ISIS was wiped out of Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.
A handout stated that people from Leh, Kargil, Kashmir, Poonch, volunteers of ALMSAJ and Shaheed Mutahiri Library also joined Anjuman-e-Imamia in the protest which was followed by Khatm-e-Quran.
