SSCAF-I to conduct auditions for ‘Nach India’

JAMMU, Jan 6: School Sports and Cultural Activities Federation of India (SSCAF-I) for the first time will conduct auditions for ‘Nach India’ talent hunt programme for J&K students to provide them a national platform.
In a press conference here today SSCAF-I National Secretary General, J.P Verma said, besides promoting sports activities SSCAF-I also promotes cultural activities among school going students and in this regard it has started ‘Nach India’ talent hunt programme on all India basis where auditions are done throughout the country.
He further informed that those who get first, second and third position in dance competition and others who are talented but fail to get any position will also be provided platform to display their talent at district level and then at national level.
“The position holders will compete at South Asian level in Nepal where students from Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will participate,” Verma maintained.
He informed that SSCAF’s national games will be held in the month of May this year for which schedule will be announced in first week of May.
Verma also said, in this regard SSCAF J&K team will look after all the preparations to ensure maximum participation from J&K.
SSCAF JK President, Gulshan Rattan, Vicky Mahajan, Puneet Arora, Working President, Tarun Uppal, Director and Purshotam Mehra were also present in the press conference.
