JAMMU, Jan 6: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was here today held under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Forum Provincial President.
Issue of pending salaries and arrears on account of 6th and 7th pay commission of Masters working against the post of Head Teachers in the upgraded Middle Schools, removal of Pay Anomalies of Masters and Teachers, salary and conversion issues of ReTs, RReTs, Grade II and Grade III, issue of Contingent Paid Workers/Land Donors, Transfers of Lecturers/Masters/Teachers who have completed their stay in Hard Zones and those who have been posted out of district and the issue of time bound promotions etc were discussed in the meeting.
All the members present in the meeting appealed to the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu, his Advisor, K.K Sharma, Commissioner Secretary School Education Department, Hirdesh Kumar Singh and Director School Education to look into the matter personally and sort out all the issues at an earliest.
