Detained Pak boys crossed LoC in search of job

JAMMU, Mar 23: Two Pakistani boys arrested from the Line of Control by the Army yesterday, had crossed over the fence in search of job.

“During questioning by the Army, the boys disclosed that they had crossed the border in search of job,” reliable sources here told reporters.

Two Pakistani boys identified as Rehmat Ullah, 15 and his brother Inayat Ullah, 12, residents of Chudoli tehsil in Kothi district wearing Black Pathan suits, were detained last morning by the Army near Sariyan in Jhangar area of Nowshera Sector at Rajouri district.

“A message was flashed to the Pakistan Army via hotline regarding the detention of two boys,” sources said.

“Both the boys were handed over to the Pakistan Army delegates led by Captain Ehsaan attending the flag meet,” at Chakkan-Da-Bagh in Poonch district.

“A Company Commander level flag meet was held today on the LoC in Poonch and the boys were handed over to them,” Lt Col Palta Jammu Based Public Relation Officer (PRO), Ministry of Defence confirmed to reporters. (AGENCIES)
