Two-day Global Hindu Conference begins

JAMMU, Jan 11: The two -day Global Hindu Thought Leaders’ Conference has begun at New Delhi today.
Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, BJP State spokesperson on Kashmir Affairs and a prominent Kashmiri Pandit leader is leading the strong contingent of 25 delegates belonging to the UT of Jammu and Kashmir in the international conference. The 500 delegate conference is being organised by Global Hindu Federation, UK and World Hindu Federation, Nepal jointly.
The chief guest in the conference would be Prahlad Singh Patel, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture. The BJP Delhi State president and MP Manoj Tiwari would be the guest of honour while Ravinder Kishore Sinha, MP Rajya Sabha would be the special invitee in the function. It is for the first time that the Global Hindu Thought Leaders Conference is being held in the capital of India, New Delhi.
Among the prominent figures who are attending the conference besides Ashwani Chrungoo include Utpal Kaul, Dr. Rajat Mitra, Virender Raina, Adv. Ashok Bhan, S.P. Sharma, Sameer Bhat, Kamal Bagati, Adv. Pulkit Chrungoo, Nidhi Tikoo Mitra and Vikram Singh Langeh. On behalf of the delegates from Jammu and Kashmir, Ashwani Chrungoo and Dr. Rajat Mitra will make presentations in the function.
The conference besides adopting Delhi Declaration and Memorandum of Unity will also formulate the details of Kashmir Conference of Global Thought leaders scheduled to be held this year in August at Srinagar. Pardip Kumar Kukreja, chairman of GHF, Pramod Kumar Choralia, president of WHF and Pandit Satish Sharma, president of WHF-UK will be addressing the inaugural sessions of the open house on Sunday.
